I'll never forget the first time I met you on the server. I had been playing with Martyr and Sidarious for about a month and then I got on one day and they were like, "meet our Dark Lord of the Sith, Darth Apocalypse." And you were just standing there like a badass. I was a bit more intimidated than I should have been but I was like "oh shit...this is the leader....I bet he's a god at JKA..."
And sure enough you were. 
Then I added you on Xfire because that was the thing that DE used back then, which made me laugh. You messaged me once trying to get to know me but it didn't really amount to much. A few months later, I became staff at JKHub and started to learn a lot more about web design and management. I created my own personal website and all that. So then every time I would go to DE's old site, I would cringe and think "this site is soooo old, no wonder people don't use it"
A year later, after pestering Martyr to make DE active again by letting me making a new website, he finally told me to ask you. I was like, "but...he'll say no instantly! He has no idea who I am! " But I did anyways. At first you were really hesitant. Kept asking questions if it was worth it and if I could stick with it and pull it off. You eventually gave the green light, and work had begun. From that moment on, we worked closely to get the site to where it is today.
Here's an example of the process that usually took place:

It was a blast learning all that I did for the site though, and I loved that you actually knew what you wanted me to do and still gave me freedom and listened to my ideas. As far as a web design client, you have been by far the best to work with.
I'm gonna keep rambling. I'm a Darth, so you can't stop me.
The fact that I joined this clan in 2013 and became a Dark Council member in less than 3 years is crazy to me. I joined, became Acolyte under Martyr. After about 2 months of being active I was made Adept. I began working on the new DE site as an Adept! So you then promoted me to Knight for my work. But you didn't stop there. Apparently you were really wanting me on the Dark Council all along, and is why you kept nagging me to get better at JKA. I'm still shocked you made me council even now, because of my lack of skill. But you always have said that leading a clan in JKA isn't just about skill, it's about being a good leader. And I appreciate that.
Anyway, this place won't be the same without you, that's for sure. We are all taking it hard in that sense. DE will continue but it will always feel empty without our Dark Lord Apocalypse leading us.
