So I was thinking of getting subbed on SW:TOR again but I want to make sure for new -[DE]- who might go back or just for players who might not know, I'ma give some build tips.
THIS IS FOR THE EMPIRE SIDE BECUZ I HATE JEDI AND PUBS (they are pretty much the same though)
First tip, if you want the best experience for SW:TOR then yeah you're going to have to pay real money to subscribe. I generally do the pay 30 dollars once for 2 months of sub as it's a non-recurring payment method.
So now to build your character, you have class options when you pick your character. You can be a Warrior, Inquisitor, Bounty Hunter, or Agent. Each one is built differently but every single character NEEDS ENDURANCE.
ENDURANCE: For every point of endurance you have you get 10 health points for your character. THIS IS UR HEALTH
Each Class can branch off into two separate sub classes. Once you pick one at around level 10 (whenever you get to the space station) You can pick ur sub class and each one requires different stat build ups.
Warrior generally focuses on strength/endurance.
Inquisitor focuses on willpower/endurance.
Bounty Hungery focuses on Aim/Endurance.
Agent uses Cunning/Endurance.
For each one they can get a sub class, for example Warrior can choose to be a Sith Marauder or Sith Juggernaut.
You'll hear things like ''Is your character DPS or Tank? Healer or DPS?'' Dps are builds focused on damage, Tanks are focused on well, taking more hits than normal. To build your character perfectly think back to what they focus on. Warriors in general focus on strength/endurance. So a tank would use armor that has more endurance than strength, and a dps Marauder would use more strength than endurance.
Another tip: Don't spend too many credits on armor and relics if you're not peak level. The second you level up you're bound to find better armor as drops and the previous armor you spent tons of credits on just got outdated and is now worthless to you.
Expertise is another form of stat which should be ignored unless you're around level 50+. Expertise is a stat that helps PVP only and does nothing to help you defeat the NPCs throughout the worlds.
