Jk3 SP total conversion project

Some of you will have played the jk2 total conversion "Sith Outcast"

This will be a similar mod for jk3. However....

I plan on changing the jk3 story, dialogue, characters and sounds.

The idea is to make a DE centered story with clan members as the characters and clan skins as the models and voiced by us.

Right now I'm doing research and figuring out the logistics of the coding. I'm sure Apoc has story ideas. I'll be creating a thread later for this once I get some traction.

Interesting idea. Tongue So a mod changing all aspects of SP? Or new missions with new maps?

Do you have any idea of how to do this right now or is this just an spur of the moment idea?

The mod doesn't change the maps just everything else. Sort of.

Apoc I have an idea of how to do it yes. The hardest part is dissecting the base pk3s to modify the way the game chooses file locations.

When the game loads files it looks in the place the code tells it to look. I would simply make it look somewhere else

Obviously Apocalypse will replace Luke in the game. I was planning on calling jaden "Acolyte"

There isn't really much coding needed unless you want to drastically change things in how the game works. It's just a matter of replacing assets like any other mod. Using a new PK3.

Exactly. The hard part will be redoing the dialogue and cut scenes plus recording all the new sounds
