Join us this Saturday at 2:00pm EST for our climbing of Racearena's "A Mountain"! Allow for 2 or more hours to complete this, as it is a long way up! I hope to see everyone there, it's gonna be awesome. Who will be the first one to make it to the top?!!

"Strafing" doesn't matter in this one, this is basically only high jumping from A to B place, lol.

Dew isn't used to the terms we use. He calls strafe jumps Long Jumps, and to him strafing only means strafe hopping. He's a Euro, leave him be lol.

Method

Even if you watch "Strafe Jumping guides/tutorials/tricks" videos from every kind of games (Quake 3, JK2, JKA SOF2 etc) they all does only bunnyhopping/circle jumping which is real strafing, as how you do strafing in pads also, not any kind of long jumping/forcejumping or anything... That's just normal jumping lol and doesn't require much skills/physics as real strafing.

After getting my Christmas presents, I have found out that I might not be able to attend this event. I will be going to a science museum around 10 AM, my time, which would be 1 PM EST.

So, I suppose I will not be able to destroy you all in this event. Cry

I guess it ended up being a bad time for most people, it was just me and Empari. Naturally we just started shooting each other with X-wings and TIE fighters the whole time. Grin

But I still would like to do this sometime. Do you want to have the climb sometime in the next week? What time? Post below!

(Tho, I was drunk when I was reading your post first time, lol).

Maybe we could set up a bigger tournament for Sunday days, I think it's the best (so it's not middle of the week when people have job, school etc) but the best time would be after New Year, so maybe 4th January or 11th, 2015?

"Bigger Tournament" I mean doing many things in same time, like Elimination Championship like we did before, normal Duel gametype fraglimit to 12, and perhaps something to do with gunning, for example Sniper Only (Disruptor) FFA mode fraglimit to 50 in some custom map. etc....

Well, I don't want to schedule it for a bad time again, what do you guys think about after the next EC? We could have the EC, then Infected as usual, and then Climb A Mountain. Or we could move it to before the EC sometime, but I kinda figured people would want to practice up before EC.

What do you guys think?
