My Long Overdue Fantastical Adventure

So recently i got around to playing the Knights of the Old Republic series. 10 years after their release. I played them when i was like 8 or 9 but as a child i had absolutely no clue what the fuck i was doing and didnt beat KotOR 1 but somehow managed to get to the final boss on KotOR 2. Now 5 years later im 14 and i went and got KotOR 1 on Steam modded the shit out of it and played and loved every moment of it (since i can actually comprehend it now). Then i moved on the KotOR 2 going into i thought it was going to be shit since remembered from some where someone told me that is was worse that KotOR 1. But when i got into it, (I also modded the shit out of it) it was way better imo.

Just wanted to share my experiences with a 11 and 10 year old game. Anyone else have some good experiences with Ko[font=verdana]tOR?[/font]

Nice, I was about 14 when I first played it... almost a decade ago lol. KOTOR 1 is one of my all time favorite games ever. I used to make it a hobby to play and beat it once a year. I think I failed last year but damn KOTOR 1 was so brilliantly put together.

I've only played and beat Kotor 2 one time. I found it to be boring and dragged out, the concept of the Sith Triumvirate was awesome but kinda feel short.

Darth Nihilus was so damn anti-climactic...

I can't really get myself to play KOTOR 2 again but number 1 is imo one of the best games of all time. Along with Star Wars Battlefront 1/2 and JKA (because of DE tbh).

I only recently played KOTOR 1 with cheats 2 years ago, was fun. Maybe if I modify KOTOR 2 I can actually enjoy it lol.

One of my favorite series. Love both of them. KOTOR 1 is my favorite of the two, as I think the story is ten times better than the second. But I think the dark atmosphere and mood of the second one is awesome.

I used to also play through them once a year, usually during the summer. I still try to do that, but sometimes it doesn't happen. I didn't this year.

I made a couple mods for both of them back in the day. I never released them, as they were very small tweaks.

I'm hoping for an HD remake of both of them eventually.
